Does The Bible Teach a Flat Earth? - Part 1

Heather Darnall Season 1 Episode 6

In today's modern era, people are so hung up on facts, which is not necessarily a bad thing.  However, more often than not, many wrongly resort to the Bible to use as a debate book.  And they do this so they can prove themselves as right, or being smarter than another, totally dismissing the fact that the Bible has one specific use only -  to draw closer to our Almighty God by learning the sinful nature of our hearts, the importance of repentance, and moreover, that our salvation awaits us when we give our lives to Jesus.

In this episode, I want to address one conspiracy theory which is that some people believe that the Bible teaches a flat earth by compiling various/random verses that have been used to present their argument as fact.  When little do they know, the fact is that the scripture they're pulling or using, is far from what they think it means.  That being said is why I start off by discussing some history regarding the Bible, so that when I discuss the first few hand-selected verses, or break them down, it's much easier to see God's truth and meaning revealed - as in the spiritual interpretation, not what we think our human opinion about them means, and then address the last 3 verses in part 2.

Please note that this is my personal interpretation of the scripture to the best of my current knowledge and understanding.  I encourage everyone to please check and verify as scripture encourages all believers to do so.  There many be times where I have overlooked and/or misunderstood information by mistake which is why verifying is important, if you feel lead by the Holy Spirit to do so.
