Verse-By-Verse Ministry With Heather Darnall
This podcast is a way for people to dive deep into the Christian Bible with me as I read scripture verse-by-verse from various sections and break them down for a better understanding of the context. But moreover, to have a better relationship with Jesus. Additionally, I believe this podcast is a good starting point for anyone new to the Holy Bible, but is still good for anyone who is already well-versed.
Now, please take note that I'm not a scholar. I didn't go to seminary school, I don't have any sort of qualifications that would highlight myself as some kind of guru; I'm simply a seeker for the truth of God. He gives me what I need to make this podcast according to His liking since it's technically His podcast. Therefore, I'm just managing it to the best of my human ability.
But the main reason I started this podcast, is because first off, no one read the Bible to me growing up. Secondly, so often verses are taken out of context and rearranged for our self-will, or even thought as not applicable to us given the length of time that has passed when it was written. And when we do, or think like that by not seeking the full council of God, we're only going to feel lonely, misguided, even deceived.
Thus is why I wanted to take the advice of the apostle Paul when he wrote his letter to Timothy (2 Timothy 2:15) and told him, "do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth." Pay attention to that key word there, "rightly." So that being said, hopefully you'll find this podcast helpful and insightful. Moreover, that you're continuously rooted in your faith while marching forward in life having more confidence in the Bible and what it's really saying to us as well as how we can make it applicable in our day-to-day lives.

For Such A Time As This - Part 2
According to the Bible, Israel has faced many occasions where their entire nation was attacked and threatened with annihilation. The book of Esther contains the history of one such occasion. In this episode, I'm going to continue to read and break down the rest of the epistle, thus being part 2, to help put things into better perspective, starting in chapter 4 and continuing through chapter 10.
A few areas of heavy discussion center around faith, blessings, as well as obedience - as well as acknowledging that even though it may feel at times the enemy is prevailing, and not just in the book of Esther, but also in our day-to-day lives, but in Esther's case, this book provides unique details that reveals how the outcome is much better than what we all expect(ed). Additionally, if unbelievers knew our Almighty God, our Lord Jesus Christ, they'd not only know they cannot interfere with God's plan and purpose, but that they could be forgiven of all their iniquities, if they would just submit themselves to Jesus by accepting their free gift of Salvation.
Please note that this is my personal interpretation of the scripture to the best of my current knowledge and understanding. I encourage anyone to please check and verify as the scripture encourages all believers to do so. There may be times where I have overlooked and/or misunderstood information by mistake which is why verifying is important if you feel lead by the by Holy Spirit to do so.
